Christopher Tolkien gives the full story behind the epic tale of Beren and Luthien first told in "The Silmarillion using prose and verse passages from the original draft versions. This is the tale of the fateful love between a mortal man and an immortal Elf and their quest to steal the Silmaril from the evil Melkor in the north. 3/5 stars. |

Following on the events of "Network Effect", Murderbot and the Preservation crew work to thwart Barish-Estranza corp from 'rescuing' anything or anyone not nailed down. That is if Murderbot can figure out what is wrong with itself and get back to normal operating parameters. 4/5 stars. |

The situation in the original 1984 was very claustrophobia and mysterious. This book is the opposite, giving details of the beginning and end of Big Brother's reign in the country formerly known as England. 4/5 stars. |
